New Enterprise Incentive Scheme at Maker

Did you know Maker + Co is hosting the NEIS program this year?

NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) is a self-employment program backed by the Federal Government to help eligible Western Australians establish and run their own businesses.

NEIS is run by Business Foundations, a not-for-profit enterprise development organisation based in Perth. If you live in the area you can complete the program from home or you can come into Maker + Co and access our coworking space and meeting rooms.

You will be assisted through a 3 week program by the wonderful Kim Veal, Business Trainer at Business Foundations.  Successful completion of the program will provide you with a Cert III in Micro Business, you will learn how to write a business plan and complete a set of business financial spreadsheets.  You will also have access to ongoing subsidised workshops on a range of business topics such as online marking.

Other assistance includes 12 months mentoring from a locally based business mentor, and support if you are from a non-English speaking background.  You may also be eligible for income support.

If you would like to come in to Maker + Co to look at our facilities and discuss eligibility and how this can work for you, contact Craig on 0438909019 or email
