This year during National Reconciliation Week (27th May to 3rd of June), Reconciliation Australia invites all Australians to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories, to share that knowledge and help us grow as a nation.

The annual Reconciliation Bridge Walk  is just one of many ways you can get involved in Bunbury to spread awareness.

Starting at the power boat club, the walk will make its way over the bridge and finish at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell where there will be presentations, hands activity, cultural entertainment and more.

This year, Maker + Co are proud to be hosting a Six Seasons event in support of this week. The Reconciliation Week Celebration and Changing of Season is a public event that gives us the opportunity to come together to share stories, look towards a positive future and farewell the season of Djiran.

The night will feature singing and spoken word performances from local Noongar performers: Kilara Bennell, Brodie Ryder, Cassie Jetta and Stephen Taylor and MC’d by special guest Dr. Lynette Narkle.

WHEN: Friday 1st of June, 6:30pm - 10:00pm
